When the weather starts to warm up I only have cravings for all things bright and fresh. Our Mango Salsa fits right into that category and it only takes 10 minutes to throw together and uses only 6 simple ingredients.

I literally eat this salsa all summer long. It goes so well served with or sprinkled into a variety of dishes. It’s so good that I can usually eat the entire batch straight out of the bowl with a spoon.

    How to Make Mango Salsa

Mango salsa ingredients all prepped out.

    Process

    1. Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
    2. Mix together and serve.

    Tools You Will Need

    • cutting board
    • knife
    • mixing bowl
    • spoon

    Make Ahead

Our mango salsa recipe can be prepped up to 3 days ahead of time. Just chop all the ingredients up and store each separately in an airtight container, in the refrigerator. When ready to use, combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper. Allow mixture to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.

Alternatively this salsa can be fully made up to 24 hours ahead of time and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Don’t season with salt and pepper until ready to serve. When ready to serve, season with salt and pepper and stir ingredients together. Allow salsa to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.

What to Serve with Mango Salsa

Our mango salsa is so delicious on its own, but can also be served with a variety of dishes, some of our favorites are:

    • tortilla chips
    • grilled fish
    • grilled or seared chicken
    • sprinkled on a variety of salads
