- 1 1/2 cups freshly squeezed and strained blood orange juice (from about 4 to 5 oranges)
- 24 ounces pilsner of choice (or hefeweizen)

- 8 blood orange slices
- 4 sprigs mint leaves

Combine simple syrup and orange juice into a liquid measuring cup and stir together.
Fill four drinking glasses with ice and divide sweetened orange juice. Fill each glass with half of beer and stir together. Garnish each glass with blood orange slices and mint leaves, if using.Serve.
