Pumpkin Butter

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 100% apple juice (unfiltered pressed apples are best)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon all-spice
  • 15 ounces pumpkin puree 1 can

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients into a medium pot and place over medium heat. Stir.
  • Allow the mixture to reduce on medium to medium-low heat for 30 to 40 minute or until slightly thickened (the mixture will thicken more as it cools).
  • Transfer to sterilized jars and store until ready to use.
  • Serve over toast, muffins, scones, etc.

  • Makes 3½ - 4 cups
