Hey guys! Today we have another delicious smoothie recipe for you all! With summer just a few short weeks away stone fruit has found its way back into grocery stores and at farmer’s markets and we’re so excited! I love a simple fresh fruit smoothie; whenever I make smoothies I always try to blend in a little bit of hearty greens for a little extra nutrition, whether it’s baby spinach, kale or in this case dandelion greens! The great thing about smoothies like this is that although you’re technically adding veggies you totally can’t taste them and you’re left with a simple, sweet sipping snack! My favorite part of this smoothie is Silk’s Cashew milk. Seriously. It’s has such a deliciously creamy taste to it, but is completely dairy free, so it’s especially great for anyone that’s lactose intolerant. We also added some Silk dairy-free yogurt for a thicker texture without watering the smoothie down in the end, like ice cubes tend to do after a little while. If you’re craving something super simple and delicious and have about 5 minutes to spare, I highly recommend this smoothie. You can totally thank me later! ☺
Peach Papaya and Raspberry Smoothie
2 peaches, pitted and chopped
1/2 medium papaya, peeled seeded and chopped
1 heaping cup raspberries (can use frozen for a thicker consistency)
3 to 4 dandelion leaves (can substitute with 1/2 cup packed baby spinach)
1 each SILK dairy-free vanilla yogurt alternative
1 1/4 cups SILK unsweetened cashew milk
1. Pour all ingredients into a blender, in the order of the ingredients list.
2. Puree until smooth or desired consistency is achieved. 1 to 2 minutes.
3. Pour into serving glasses and garnish with fresh raspberries, if desired. Serve.
